About Florka
For many years I was totally unconnected to the idea of being in front of a camera, as the idea of holding one to capture those moments that will never come back gifted by time, even though I come from a background in Journalism and media.
Out of curiosity, about eight years ago, I decided to get my first camera and start framing places, people, nature and pieces of air back in my home country, Venezuela.
Now, based in Houston, USA, I’m a photographer, Visual Strategist, Writer, Animal lover, Gym girl and Krav Maga lover who is captivated by the excitement to walk with people and brands to capture their pieces of time from the power of authenticity, apart from the world full of photocopies we live in.
I don’t like to follow trends. I create them for others to follow.
That’s how, somehow, Flor turned into Florka Visual.
Feeling
We live in a world full of photocopies, where everyone is out of their true selves, showing up in the same way to be accepted by people who don’t accept themselves. Fakeness and perfection seems mandatory, and imagery and content creation look the same left and right.
At Florka Visual, I want to create from the power that authenticity, originality, innovation and audacity give, keeping a real connection from the very first moment among the people, the brands I work with, and us, you and me, to show your purpose, your point of view, and your beauty in a remarkable and different way through photography, videography and other ways of content creation and digital marketing.
